Nose: Elegant and complex, opening towards intense fruit with herbs and spices, with an elegant and well-integrated oak finish.

Palate: Classic structure, with elegant and long tannins, with more flavours of fruits and black spices. Long, velvety finish.

This shows impressive old-vine concentration and depth, with restrained opulence. Complex, rich and layered, with cassis and cigar box. Full-bodied and nicely chewy, with a finish that lingers almost a minute. It is truly a wine of depth and length. From 100-year-old cabernet sauvignon vines. Fermented in wooden tanks and aged 21 months in French barrels, of which around 70% were new. Drink from 2027.

Wine Spectator - 95 Points

Impressive for its captivating, aromatic layers of heliotrope, cassis, sweet spices and cigar box, which mingle among a generous and concentrated core of blackberry and plum. A gentle thread of acidity draws out the flavors as they build richness around fine tannins and a late push of spiced dark chocolate. Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now through 2040.
